Your Akimbo Card has a unique Direct Deposit Account and Routing number that can be used to receive your paycheck, tax refunds, loans, and other payments.
In addition, your Direct Deposit number can be used to receive incoming transfers from most financial institutions and other online payment services like PayPal and Amazon. Typically, incoming bank transfers are processed faster when they are received via Direct Deposit than when processed online by Akimbo. In most cases, incoming transfers post the next business day when received via Direct Deposit.
Direct Deposits are posted every morning before 9 AM CT on banking days. If you did not receive a Direct Deposit, we recommend that you double check the account number you provided the payer.
You can find your unique Direct Deposit Account and Routing number by logging into your account here. Once logged in, click on Direct Deposit to view your information.
The Direct Deposit limit per month is $20,000.00 and the Direct Deposit limit per deposit is $9,999.00. The daily maximum Direct Deposits a cardholder may receive in one day is three (3) and twelve (12) per month.
Please note that the Direct Deposit must be in the same name as is listed on your cardholder account. Sub-cardholders cannot receive direct deposit on their sub-card, nor can primary cardholders receive direct deposit on their primary card for one of their sub-cardholders.
